Exposing Hillary So She Won't Get Elected

Hillary the Hypocrite on Child Deportation

It may not be such a surprise to our regular readers, but Hillary once again has shown herself a hypocrite on important election issues, changing her position 180 degrees when it seems advantageous to her to do so.

Everyone has changes of opinion, and politicians that think through issues and realign their policies are more than welcome. But the pattern with Clinton suggests far more pandering than it does genuine thought and conscience.

So we find a year ago, Hillary called for deporting undocumented immigrant children from the United States, and now she is expressing “concerns” about just such plans.

The Washington Post broke the news that the Obama administration, just in time for the holiday season and the dead period for news reporting, is preparing for large-scale raids aimed at deporting hundreds of Central American undocumented migrants who fled to the United States to escape drug war violence in their countries.

The news provoked immediate and harsh condemnation from Democratic presidential candidates Bernie Sanders and Martin O’Malley, who called on the administration to cease the plan.

After waiting an appropriate period to judge the way the wind is blowing, the Clinton campaign came out with a statement: “Hillary Clinton has real concerns about these reports, especially as families are coming together during the holiday season,” said a campaign spokesperson, who just by coincidence happens to be Hispanic. “She believes it is critical that everyone has a full and fair hearing, and that our country provides refuge to those who need it. And we should be guided by a spirit of humanity and generosity as we approach these issues.”

Yet Clinton, perhaps with a steely eye on right-of-center Democratic voters, hedged her bets as usual and did not join her rivals in outright calling for the deportations to be halted. This could be because back in 2014, as the Central American migrant crisis became apparent, it was Clinton who first broke with the Obama administration, calling for the migrants to be sent back.
