Angry Democrats are already attempting to derail inauguration week by questioning the legitimacy of Trump’s presidency. They’ve spent the better part of the week citing two polls from ABC and CNN. The polls supposedly reveal Trump’s crummy approval ratings.
So Trump’s looking at a 40% favorable rating from ABC and 44% according to CNN. Because that’s historically low, the narrative has become, “SEEEEEEEEEE? No one likes Trump! He’s not legitimate!”
Just one problem. Both ABC and CNN vastly oversampled Democrats.
If that’s true, why did Democrats make up 31% of ABC’s sample?
METHODOLOGY – This ABC News/Washington Post poll was conducted by landline and cellular telephone Jan. 12-15, 2017, in English and Spanish, among a random national sample of 1,005 adults. Results have a margin of sampling error of 3.5 points, including the design effect. Partisan divisions are 31-23-37 percent, Democrats-Republicans-independents.
Same goes for CNN. Do they care to explain why their sample contained 32% Democrats and only 24% Republicans?
The same people who did the phony election polls, and were so wrong, are now doing approval rating polls. They are rigged just like before.

Just more “fake news,” I guess.
