Milo Yiannopoulos Sues Simon & Schuster for $10 Million

Right-wing provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos is suing his former publisher for $10 million for severing their book deal after Yiannopoulos made controversial comments about relationships between men and young boys.

After video surfaced of Yiannopoulos appearing to condone those relationships, Simon & Schuster dropped its deal to publish Yiannopoulos’s now-self-published book “Dangerous.” Yiannopoulos alleged in the lawsuit that Simon & Schuster bowed to “political pressure” fueled by a “false pretext,” the Associated Press reported.

In February, Yiannopoulos denied that he endorsed pedophilia, saying that he did not approve of relationships with “pre-pubescent boys:”

Simon & Schuster indicated the lawsuit was intended to generate publicity for Yiannopoulos and said it “fully expects to prevail in court.”
