President Trump Reportedly Could Not Find Hotel Room in Hamburg for G-20 Summit

President Donald Trump arrived in Hamburg, Germany, on Thursday for the G-20 Summit; however, he reportedly had issues finding sleeping accommodations.

Buzzfeed reports that Trump’s White House staff waited too long to book the commander in chief a room.

According to local news reports, Trump wanted to stay at the Four Seasons; however, it was already booked.

In fact, all the luxury hotels in Hamburg were already taken, leaving Trump to stay at the U.S. consulate in the city.

According to Buzzfeed’s reporting, the king of Saudi Arabia is staying at the Four Seasons, Chinese President Xi Jinping took The Grand Elysee, President Emmanuel Macron of France (along with Norwegian leaders) snapped up rooms in The Movenpick Hotel, and Russian President Vladimir Putin, who Trump meets with tomorrow, is staying at The Park Hyatt, along with the South Koreans and Australians.

The Independent reports that Trump will be hosted by the Hamburg government’s Senate House, while his administration will stay at the U.S. consulate.
