Exposing Hillary So She Won't Get Elected

CNN Producer Says Network CEO Demanded Focus on Russia Narrative

A senior producer for CNN revealed in an undercover video that network CEO Jeff Zucker personally demanded that his newsroom spend more time covering alleged Russian election collusion with the Trump campaign despite lack of evidence.

“My boss yesterday, we were having a discussion about this dental shoot and he goes … I just want you to know what we’re up against here,” John Bonifield, a senior producer and medical correspondent for CNN, told an undercover journalist working at James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas.

“He goes, just to give you some context, President Trump pulled out of the climate accords and for a day and a half we covered the climate accords. And the CEO of CNN said in our internal meeting, he said, ‘Good job, everybody, covering the climate accords, but we’re done with it. Let’s get back to Russia,’” Bonifield said.

Bonifield expressed bewilderment that President Donald Trump’s decision to drop out of the Paris climate agreement warranted only a day and a half of coverage, in Zucker’s view.

“Yeah, so even the climate accords, he was like, OK, a day or so but we’re moving back to Russia,” Bonifield said.

Bonifield explained that the decision to focus on Russia was not for editorial reasons but for business reasons.

The language in the video below might be offensive to others:

“All the nice cutesy little ethics that used to get talked about in journalism school, you’re just like, that’s adorable. That’s adorable. This is a business,” he said.

“Especially cable news. Cable news isn’t The New York Times. It’s not even like NBC news. I mean, NBC news still gets 20 million viewers a night, cable news is getting a million.

“So, they got to do what they got to do to make their money, I think. And so I love the news business, but I’m very cynical about it and at the same time so are most of my colleagues.”

In summary, Bonifield explained, “Trump is good for business right now.”

The undercover journalist probed Bonifield for his honest thoughts on the Russia-Trump collusion allegations.

“Could be bulls***. I mean, it’s mostly bulls*** right now. Like, we don’t have any big giant proof,” Bonifield said.

Bonifield questioned why, after all the damaging leaks in the Russia investigation, no definitive proof has seen the light of day.

“The way these leaks happen, they’d leak it,” he explained. “It’d leak. If it was something really good, it would leak.”

“I just refuse to believe that if they had something really good like that, that wouldn’t leak, because we’ve been getting all these other leaks.

“And so I think the president is probably right to say, like, ‘Look, you are witch-hunting me. You have no smoking gun, you have no real proof.’”

It appears that Bonifield was not aware that he was being filmed by the undercover journalist when he made his statements. It’s unclear when the recorded conversations took place. O’Keefe did not disclose such information on his website.

O’Keefe promised to release more undercover footage of CNN and other mainstream news networks in the weeks to come.
