Exposing Hillary So She Won't Get Elected

Trump Perfectly Explains Why He Ditched Climate Deal: ‘I Was Elected to Represent Citizens of Pittsburgh, Not Paris’

President Donald Trump announced on Thursday that he was withdrawing the U.S. from the Paris Climate Agreement, claiming he was elected to represent people in “Pittsburgh, not Paris.”

“I was elected to represent the citizens of Pittsburgh, not Paris,” Trump said.

He added, “It is time to put Youngstown, Ohio; Detroit, Michigan; and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; along with many, many other nations within our country, before Paris, France.”

The “America first” attitude is not new for Trump, but Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto took exception to the president’s remark. Just like that, another feud was born:

Peduto also noted that Hillary Clinton received nearly 80 percent of the voe in Pittsburgh.

“Pittsburgh stands with the world & will follow Paris Agreement,” he tweeted.

For the record, many of Trump’s supporters seemed to be on board with the declaration:

Trump also came under fire from some in the media. MSNBC anchor Nicolle Wallace called Trump’s comments “incredibly cynical” and “shallow.”
