Cut the Covfefe! Trump’s Typo Causes Liberal World-Wide Frenzy – His Morning Follow Up was Even Better

President Trump accidentally made the nonexistent word covfefe the No. 1 trending topic on Twitter after a typo that sent the mainstream media into a frenzy.

Shortly after midnight early Wednesday, Trump retweeted a Fox News post that read: “Jared Kushner didn’t suggest Russian communications channel in meeting, source says.”

Trump then tweeted: “Despite the constant negative press covfefe.” Obviously, the president meant “press coverage,” but apparently typed the wrong letters by accident.

Trump then stunned Twitter users around the world by leaving the tweet up overnight before deleting it around six hours later.

During those hours, Trump’s Twitter mistake garnered over 127,000 retweets and 163,000 likes and spawned several jokes and speculation about what covfefe really meant.

While liberals mocked Trump for the typo, conservatives noted that the president can create news coverage with a single tweet.

On Wednesday morning, Trump made light of the situation by asking: “Who can figure out the true meaning of ‘covfefe’??? Enjoy!'”
