Secret Service Remains Silent About Source of Sudden Red Lights Flashing from White House

Strange flashing red lights were spotted on the second floor of the White House Sunday evening.

Television cameras locked onto the White House first spotted these strange flashing lights at 8:30 p.m. local time, and the flashing lasted for around 20 minutes.

President Donald Trump was home at the White House at the time, back from his first foreign trip as president.

Neither the White House nor the Secret Service has commented on the source of the red flashing lights.

Theories on social media ranged from being practical to being absolutely insane.

One explanation was that the lights were a reflection from an emergency vehicle in the area.

Others had more creative ideas.

One user suggested that Trump was playing a game of laser tag. Another even suggested that the president was winding down from his trip with a game of Operation.

One theory was that the president brought home the glowing orb he was pictured with at the opening of the Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology last Sunday in Saudi Arabia.

The red lights have not been spotted since Sunday evening.

“As of this morning, the red light mystery lives on,” NBC meteorologist Dylan Dreyer said Monday morning.
