Anchor Loses It After Navy SEAL Attacks CNN’s Reporting to Her Face – Then He Responds with…

A CNN International panel became a shouting match on Tuesday after retired Navy SEAL Carl Higbie criticized the network using anonymous sources, a claim that infuriated anchor Kate Bolduan.

The panel discussion centered around the New York Times’s report, which suggested that President Donald Trump asked then-FBI Director James Comey to end the investigation into Michael Flynn.

“Who are the sources?” Higbie asked. “Oh, because they are hiding behind this anonymity.”

“Oh, please! Do not even start with me that you are just going to attack sources,” Bolduan shot back. “That is ridiculous!”

Still shouting, the anchor added, “Do not attack the stellar reporters of CNN, who have their sources and would protect their sources.”

But Higbie didn’t budge from his position and pushed back by doing what she deliberately told him not to do.

“OK, the stellar reporters of CNN that I am going to attack right now and say: ‘Guess what? I don’t believe them because they are staying anonymous,’” he said. “If they stand behind the story, come out, face the camera.”

Bolduan said that reporters have anonymous sources all the time and protect them so the American people can have access to important information.
