Throwing the first pitch of a baseball game is a timeless honor. Whether it is a major league game for the Boston Red Sox or the Houston Astros or a local minor league game, this honor is special – especially when kids get to do it.

One U.S. Air Force service member helped his two children get the opportunity to throw out the first pitch at a minor league game. They thought he was still engaged on his active duty tour which lasted for six months. But then they realized that he was pretending to be the catcher behind home plate.
