ANOTHER United Airlines Passenger Gets Unexpected Surprise….

What a terrible time to be United Airlines.

Global News reports that Richard and Linda Bell were traveling home from vacation on United Airlines flight 1418, when some creature fell out of the overhead bin and into Richard’s hair.

“I look down and I thought, ‘aw, it kind of looks like a little lobster,’” Linda recalled.

Global News said it was an inch-and-a-half long scorpion.

Richard placed the scorpion down, picked it back up. And it stung him. He said “it felt like a wasp sting.”

Another passenger stomped on the scorpion and flushed it down the toilet. Richard said it was the “worst thing to do,” because he wanted everyone to see it once they landed.

Emergency personnel checked Richard on the plan upon arriving in Calgary.

“The pilot announced it,” passenger John Rogers said. “Because the passenger was bitten, emergency services, the fire department and police boarded the plane.”

Richard was fine. They say he showed no signs of distress and he declined medical treatment.

This is not United’s fault, but it is a bad time for any story about them to get out that isn’t a good one.

Although it was a relatively small situation, it seems like no news for United would be better than what is going on now.

United Airlines told Global News it is looking into the situation.
