If you’ve not heard yet, St. Petersburg Russia was hit by a terrorist attack. This attack left at least 10 people killed and injuring at least 20, according to media reports in Russia. Of course, the media is trying to act as if they have no idea who did. It is easy to assume that radical Muslims were responsible and what they were caught doing after this event will turn your stomach.

The explosions occurred at the Sennaya Ploshchad and the Technology Institute stations, both in the center of the second biggest city in Russia. At least one involved a device that was filled with shrapnel, as reported by Interfax news agency. It reported that all metro stations in the city have been closed after the blast.
The footage after the attack shows commuters in shock after the blasts. While the world witnessed the event on social media, ISIS started to celebrate.

Not only were these people reacting this way on social media, but they were also writing about it. One ISIS supporter said the following after the attack on an online forum.
“We ask Allah to bless the operation by the lions of the Caliphate, we ask Allah to kill the Crusaders, a metro to hell for the worshipers of the Cross”
This ISIS supporter also claimed these attacks were in retaliation for Russia backing Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, who is fighting against ISIS and other rebel groups in a six-year-long civil war.
ISIS may be celebrating for the moment, but it is certain that Russia will retaliate with swift and brutal force.
