A woman who helped organize a large pro-Donald Trump rally in Huntington Beach, California, over the weekend has some tough words for the ‘resisters’ who pepper sprayed her and her group.
The Orange County Register reports about 2,000 supporters showed up for Saturday’s beach-side rally for Trump, military, and first responders but then about 20 counter protesters showed up to stop them:
As the marchers, many in MAGA hats or carrying American flags, walked down the bike path from Pacific Coast Highway and Warner Avenue, about a dozen protesters wearing black masks formed a wall blocking them.
Jennifer Sterling was one of the organizers who was hit with pepper spray:

And they were immediately brought down by marchers:

Sterling told “Fox and Friends” Monday morning that the incident was “one small event in a really great day”:
“It’s just unfortunate that we had a few bad kids out there that decided to be bullies.”
She was asked if she would like to return the ‘favor’ to the counter protesters who tried to block their rally:
“Good God, no, it’s against the law. I mean I teach my children that when all the kids are on the playground you play nice together whether you don’t like each other or not [sic]. These folks were bullies and they were violent bullies and they were the ones that were arrested.”
The L.A. Times reports that an intern from a weekly paper was pushed by Trump supporters, but no Trump supporters were arrested.
KGW-TV reports that one counter protester at a Salem, Oregon, Trump rally was arrested when he pepper sprayed a police officer. He was also charged with being a felon in possession of a concealed handgun.
