Exposing Hillary So She Won't Get Elected

People Are Calling ‘Fake News’ After Woman Appears ‘Live’ on CNN and MSNBC at the Exact Same Time

Last Wednesday was a big day for Rep. Jackie Speier (D-CA), who managed to get interviews on both CNN and MSNBC to discuss the latest happenings in the Trump administration.

She stepped in front of the cameras for interviews with CNN’s Kate Bolduan and MSNBC’s Chris Matthews, respectively. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary about the “live” interviews – except one big issue.

She was “magically” on both shows at the exact same time.

According to the Washington Free Beacon, Rep. Speier started her interview with MSNBC at 7:05 p.m.

But then just two minutes later, while she was still speaking on MSNBC, Rep. Speier also appeared to be doing a “live” interview on CNN.

The confusing mix-up left many on social media baffled, and a series of hilarious videos showing people flipping back and forth between Rep. Speier on both channels soon emerged.

Some users on Twitter poked fun at the incident, while others cried “fake news”:

The explanation is simple, which is that one of the stations pre-recorded the interview and marked it as “live.” But which?

According to Rep. Speier’s Twitter account, it was CNN who fudged their “live” broadcast.

The democrat tweeted that she was going live on CNN at 6:25 p.m. — over half an hour before her interview actually aired on the network.

She later tweeted that she was on MSNBC at 7:08 p.m., just in time for CNN to air their pre-recorded segment.

Despite the backlash for the confusing mistake, CNN has yet to publicly address the flub.
