Insiders in the Trump administration say that Donald Trump is planning a set of executive orders that will put Barack Obama to shame.
The orders will pertain to education, with a focus on Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
On the campaign trail, Trump made a pitch to the black community in the inner-city, saying “You’re living in poverty, your schools are no good, you have no jobs, 58% of your youth is employed.”
“What the hell do you have to lose?” he asked.
Now he may be sticking to that campaign promise by trying to improve educational opportunities and advancement at historically black colleges.

Donald Trump is set to unleash a new series of executive orders in the next few weeks aimed at education, specifically about Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU).
Reality star and aide to the President, Omarosa Manigault is working with Trump on a new executive order to aid ailing HBCU. According to Buzzfeed News, the President was shocked to find out how some schools have been suffering during the Obama administration.
Jarrett Carter Jr., an HBCU advocate, wrote on HBCU Digest that Trump might be able to accomplish more in regards to higher education for black students than President Obama was able to do during his entire tenure.
Carter went on to say that in a span of 24 hours, “Trump and his cabinet have generated more goodwill between the White House and black colleges than Obama” had during his entire tenure.
He downplayed Obama’s efforts for historically black colleges, saying he “feigned” interest by delivering commencement speeches, but failing to attend conferences regarding these universities.
“With one executive order unique to HBCU federal support,” he claimed, “Trump could become one of the greatest advocates black colleges have ever seen.”
That is a huge statement coming off the heels of the nation’s first black President, and among endless statements about racism from the media.
