Vice-President Pence Had the Best Special Guests for the Super Bowl

Regardless of what side you’re on – politically or as a sports fan – you have to appreciate what Vice-President Mike Pence did on his way to attend the Super Bowl in Houston this past Sunday.

Pence picked up and escorted a pair of wounded service members – one a Patriots fan, the other a Falcons fan – and brought them as special guests to the big game.

Staff Sgt. Anthony Mannino Jr., a New England fan, was injured in Iraq in 2008, while Army Staff Sgt. Frederick Manning, an Atlanta fan, was wounded in Afghanistan last year.

They each brought a guest, Mannino his wife, and Manning brought along his nurse, Army Sgt. 1st Class Charles Stanley.

What an incredibly classy move made by Pence.
