Exposing Hillary So She Won't Get Elected

Matthew McConaughey Tells Celebs Freaking Out Over Trump to Get Over It

Matthew McConaughey has become the latest celebrity to come out against other celebrities freaking out over Donald Trump’s presidency.

In an interview promoting his new film “Gold,” McConaughey told ChannelFi that he thinks its time for celebrities to get over it – and for the division to stop.

“Well, they don’t have a choice now. He’s our president,” McConaughey said in the interview. “And, it’s very dynamic and as divisive of an inauguration and time as we’ve ever had. At the same time, it’s time for us to embrace and shake hands with this fact. And be constructive with him over the next four years.”

“So anyone, even those who may strongly disagree with his principles or things he’s said and done — and that’s another thing, we’ll see what he does compares to what he has said — no matter how much you even disagreed along the way, it’s time to think about how constructive can you be,” he continued.

McConaughey said that celebrities protesting for the sake of protesting Trump for the sake of protesting should stop “cause he’s our president for the next four years, at least…the president of the United States.”

McConaughey isn’t the only one. Oscar winner Morgan Freeman was also weary with protests in a recent interview:

“As for politics today, I supported Hillary (Clinton) in the election, and now it feels like we are jumping off a cliff,” Freeman said, according to the U.K. Daily Mail. “We just have to find out how we land. I’m not scared, though.

‘”I’m holding out hope that Donald Trump has to be a good president. He can’t not be. What I see is a guy who will not lose,” he added.
