The White House Has Responded to ‘SNL’ Writer Who Mocked Barron Trump

The White House issued a statement in response to the “Saturday Night Live” writer that mocked Donald Trump’s 10-year-old son Barron.

“It is a longstanding tradition that the children of Presidents are afforded the opportunity to grow up outside of the political spotlight,” the administration said in a statement Tuesday. “The White House fully expects this tradition to continue.”

“We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.”

On the day of the inauguration, Katie Rich received a flood of angry tweets when she said that “Barron will be this country’s first homeschool shooter.”

Shortly after the comment, she was suspended form the show and later apologized for her message, which she agreed was inexcusable.
