Police in Obama’s Chicago Say Torture Video of White Special Needs Victim May Not Be a Hate Crime

In a disturbing story, a white special needs male was brutally tortured by four young black adults in a video posted to Facebook live.

The victim was bound, repeatedly kicked and hit, had his scalp cut and burned with cigarettes, all while the assailants shouted “f*** Donald Trump! F*** white people!” along with other racial slurs.

Now, the Chicago police believe the video may not constitute a hate crime.

During a segment, CNN’s Don Lemon struck a cautious tonne and indicated that he can’t say it is a hate crime because police haven’t labeled it as such.

On Lemon’s panel, democrat strategist Symone Sanders agreed that the torture video may not constitute a hate crime.

“I’m gonna say something that’s probably not very popular,” Sanders began. “We cannot callously go about classifying things as a hate crime.”

The police, by remaining silent on labeling an attack that involved the phrase “f*** white people” as a ‘hate crime,’ appear to agree.

Yet the law is quite clear …

Not only are police unable to label it a hate crime, but they are saying these same people weren’t carrying out a politically motivated crime, despite yelling “f*** Donald Trump.”

Via Fox 32:

Although President-elect Donald Trump was mentioned, Chicago Police do not believe the crime was politically motivated.

“I think some of it is just stupidity, people just ranting about something that they think might make a headline. I don’t think that at this point we have anything concrete to really point us in that direction, but we’ll keep investigating and we’ll let the facts guide us on how this concludes,” Supt. Johnson said.

If this were Hillary Clinton or radical Muslims, would the police be just as hesitant to place labels?
